State of the Market Sneak Peek

After a whirlwind year, we are more excited than ever at the opportunities and changes that our industry will be seeing in 2024. Here's a quick look at some of the topics Denise will be covering at the 2024 State of the Market.

Hi everyone! Denise Lones here and today I want to give you a sneak peak into some of the content that I'm going to be covering in my State of the Market presentation later this January 24th. This past year has been a whirlwind and there has been so much change.

We have never seen so many housing-related legislative bills here in the State of Washington, ever! So, I'm going to be talking about House Bill 1337 which expands how and where ADUs can be constructed, and about House Bill 1110 which changes to zoning to allow middle-housing in traditionally SFR-only areas.

I'm also going to be talking about how interest rates, which have doubled over the last year, have affected inventory. Not just historically speaking, but I'll also be covering what is going to happen in the years to come, what you need to do as a real estate industry professional, and how your business should be positioned with respect to home mortgage rates.

Here in Washington State and elsewhere, our society is turning into a very tenant-friendly policy world. You need to understand how those policies are affecting tenants and landlords, but also how that is affecting the real estate market and what you need to know to help your investors buy property.

Miss the 2024 State of the Market?

Second homes! There is huge opportunity in the second homes market and I'm going to be discussing these and other important opportunity-markets that could be critical to your business getting ahead in the coming years. That includes what lays ahead for you as an agent, for builders, and new construction developers too!

So, this is a very full day that we are going to have. Come join me at this year's State of the Market. I cannot wait to share this information. I want you to be set up to have your best year ever – and information-education is absolutely at the forefront of that.
