Aaron & Karen Zehm

Aaron and Karen Zehm stand out amongst the crowd of Puget Sound agents with their combined knowledge and passion. The Plan

Karen and Aaron are the type of couple you like to see working together in real estate because they each had their own strengths, covered for each other's weaknesses, and, as Denise likes to say, wanted to tend their own gardens when it came to working with clients. Aaron's niche market in commercial leasing and sales was very different than the social connections Karen had made with her sphere and running club. However, they both showed up for their clients and for activities such as open houses as their different personality types would appeal to different people. They both wanted systems and processes to operate their business fluidly.

Their Brand

Karen and Aaron wanted a brand that conveys the rich natural colors and textures of the Northwest with all the warmth, character, and approachability of a Craftsman home. Their design combines sleek silver bars, and a rugged combination of rich wood grain and navy blue brushed concrete textures. We highlighted the unique last letter of their name by creating a polished silver Z monogram within an eye-catching diamond shape.

We used their existing tagline, "Real Estate Done Right," under their name treatments, which combine a personalized script font with a stable and reliable-looking serif font. Finally we added a nature-setting background to their team portrait to finish the brand with a natural touch.

Although Karen and Aaron are unique as their real estate business is focused on not only residential, but commercial as well, in terms of their real estate business, we worked primarily on the residential side of things, beginning work in March of 2018 and we delivered their systems through mid-2019. They joined ENCORE around that time and we began their niche marketing campaign via LeadMagnet in 2021.

Between 2018 and 2021, their transaction unit count increased 225% (including commercial) while their sold volume (as of 12/1/2021) increased by 269%.
