NXNW Real Estate

The NXNW team, consisting of principals Paul Hanken, Steve Clark, and Kevin Dares III had come together and formed their own brokerage to focus on their individual niche markets under the umbrella of NXNW - a brokerage of investors for investors. Their knowledge in these various market segments was impressive, but they needed systems and processes that outlined their diverse pools of knowledge and expertise as well as guidance for where to focus their energies in terms of lead generation and conversion.

The Plan

It is rare that we get to work with a team with such a diverse set of skills and experience. There were so many opportunities this team had to dominate the market with their individual niches - commercial leasing, working with investors to obtain or dispose of property, property management, short-term rentals, and property assemblages - grouping adjacent properties together to be sold to a developer as a group and maximizing profit for the seller because of this unique opportunity. The challenge for Steve, Paul, and Kevin is determining the highest and best opportunity and the lowest-hanging fruit.

Their Brand

Their brand needed to be unique, locally targeted, but also appeal to all the different client types they may be working with. Their logo features a compass rose, pointing in the direction of their name. To further refine their area of expertise, they included a local perspective of Seattle. Cool blues feel right at home in the Northwest, and a tone-on-tone Seattle map texture adds interest without being distracting.

Results

The NXNW team started with us in January of 2019. They serve so many different segments of the real estate industry from commercial leases, working with investors, property management, short-term rentals, and upzoned areas, but since most our focus is on upzoned areas, that is where the results are focused.

They have secured two assemblages which equaled 21 parcels between them with others in the beginning stages. Assemblages can take years to put together from beginning to the final transfer of property, but they are well on their way to becoming known as the go-to brokers for getting the best deal for your property from developers.

With that program underway, we now focusing on growing the investor and property management side of their business.
