I recently received an article from an agent which looked like it was printed on this agent's home printer. The paper was cheap and the printing was uneven,
indicating an inexpensive printer in a home office. This tells me the agent either didn't use a professional printer or they just don't see the value
of effective marketing.
I know this may sound harsh, but you MUST consider what people will think when they see your materials. It's true you may not
have a huge marketing budget when you're first starting out. It's also true that it's better to be sending than not sending. But PRIORITY NUMBER ONE for you is to
be able to afford a professionally-produced campaign as quickly as possible.
